Bring your horses! Pack your hiking gear and your mountain bikes (or hire them locally). The Eleventh Oak is a 5 km ride from the Lilydale to Warburton trail; a flat 140km trail, suitable for walkers, cyclists, and horse riders.
The newly opened Warburton Bike Park is 70km of mountainous dirt trails, for those who like to live on the edge.
The Yarra Valley region of Victoria is home to 90 wineries, many of which offer cellar door tastings, & numerous venues include restaurants.
Your choice of local Hirsch Hill Reserve Chardonnay, Estate Pinot Noir or Sparkling Blanc de Blanc will be provided on arrival. The winery is made up of a talented wine making team, who create the wine for several other local wineries, in addition to producing their own range.
Hirsch Hill do not have a cellar door, so purchases may be made online.
On our doorstep are the plentiful farms who open their doors to the public for the Yarra Valley & Dandenong Ranges Farm Gate Trail.
Just one of these unique experiences includes picking your own cherries (seasonally) at Cherry Hill Orchards.
Healesville Sanctuary is a zoo dedicated to the preservation of Australian native animals; some of which are in danger of extinction.
An easy 20-minute drive from The Eleventh Oak, you have the option of listening to scheduled talks about the animals or having a private guided tour.
This is a highly recommended activity, particularly for international guests.
